Hypericum hirsutum L.

Flora Europaea the original Linnean specimen perennial, H, 2n=18, diploid mesoxeric to mesic, calciphyle,nemoral belt Palearctic Atropion, Querco-Fagetea R41habitats       The single densely hairy known species of Hypericum and though very easy recognizable. It is also only a sporadically encountered species in our flora though the Romanian flora books report it as being 'frequent'.
